FAQs
How does your program work?
We have a three step success process. First, we assess your needs, we test to identify your concern, and then we design a customized program giving you the best path to greater wellness.
What can I expect at first visit?
Prior to our first meeting, you will have filled out a health history form and return it for me to review. You will be interviewed in detail about your personal medical history, lifestyle, diet, and health concerns. This visit will last about one to one and a half hours. Follow-up visits will about thirty to forty-five minutes.
What do you offer?
We offer four programs:
At Nourishing Ways Center, we strive to make a customized program for you and your family.
How long are your programs?
Everything is individualized, is dependent on your health, and how well you are following the program.
What type of payments do you accept?
Payment (check, cash, or Visa/Mastercard) is expected at the appointment time.
What if I can't make my appointment?
48 hour cancellation notice is appreciated. "Last minute" cancellations or "no shows" will be billed at $75 for the initial consultation and $50 for follow ups. If you participate in a pre paid program, then that visit will be forfeited.
Why must I make a deposit before the initial consultation?
This is to reserve your appointment. I will also review your questionnaire prior to our visit. If you "no show", it means someone else could have had that appointment time.
What do I bring at my first appointment?
Any lab work that was done at your primary doctor's office in the past two years will be helpful.
Do I have to use the supplements at your office?
No. I want you to achieve the best results quickly and safely. Supplements, over the counter, may contain heavy metals, synthetic vitamins, and other contaminants or may not have the correct dose it says on the label. We want you to receive the best treatment as possible. We will discuss all of your options and you will decide what works best for you. We are saturating your body with nutrition to help you get back to optimal health.
How often are my visits?
Some patients come weekly or bi-weekly, depending on their needs. Follow-up is important to continue the education, monitor progress, making changes and for support. The goal is to reach that point where your health goals are achieved, and you are independently capable of taking care of your nutritional needs.
Does insurance cover my expenses?
Nourishing Ways Center does not participate with any insurance companies, therefore does not submit your bill. Nourishing Ways Center will provide you with a detailed receipt of your payment that includes all the codes required by insurance companies. I encourage you to try to achieve reimbursement, especially if your physician referred you to me.

Will I have to take supplements the rest of my life?
It all depends on how well you are willing to change your diet and lifestyle. I would love to see patients only have to take a multivitamin, a fish oil capsule, vitamin D and iodine.
